Thanet Wanderers RUFC - Become A Sponsor

Firstly we would like to thank all Sponsors past and present as well as extend a warm welcome to potential new Sponsors. Thanet Wanderers just like any other club needs Sponsors in order to survive and we are lucky enough to have a group of very loyal ones.

Unfortunately we cannot rely on these people for ever; they are the people that stop us from going under. If we are to progress and take the step up that is needed, sorry, deserved into the National Leagues we need to make ourselves financially stable.

In order to do this we require new Sponsors to inject enthusiasm as well as their money of course!

We obviously do not expect to receive something for nothing as they say which is why we have developed Sponsors packages.

Sponsorship Packages

These packages are extremely flexible and suit every budget, they include the following:

• 2 Advertising Boards
• 11+ Half page Programme Adverts
• A link on our Website
• - £1,527.50 inc VAT

Package 2

• 2 Advertising Boards
• 11+ Full page Programme Adverts
• A link on our Website
• - £1,938.75 inc VAT

Shirt Sponsors Package (3rdXV, 4thXV & 5thXV)

• Sponsors logo on the 3rd, 4th and 5th XV team shirt sleeves
• 11+ full page Programme adverts
• A link on our Website
• - £3,525 inc VAT

Schools Project

The Biggest project we are trying to promote is our Schools Project, developed to take rugby into the local schools.

This is where we will find most of our future 1stXV players. I myself would probably have never played Rugby if it wasn’t for the fact I went to Chatham House Grammar School.

I have been a part of this programme having been into local schools coaching with our Director of Rugby and our Head Coach.

There is an abundance of natural talent out there that would never have been discovered if this programme wasn’t in place. I dare say there is an equal number that were never discovered and didn’t find their talent.

The Schools Project is a major area for the club and costs around £10,000 to carry out each year, this figure is set to rise as we are looking to go into more schools and raise the profile of rugby in the area.

We are looking to get as near to this figure as possible through sponsorship. If we can get 1 or 2 sponsors willing to sponsor this area we would be very grateful.
